Tyffyn is made of the highest-quality, food-grade stainless steel. The food containers are coated on the outside with a non-toxic copper finish. The lids are made of durable, shatterproof FDA-approved BPA-free plastic.
Our materials are also compliant with the most current European standard: RoHS and SVHC.
Tyffyn was designed to keep your food hot or cold, depending on your needs. It was not designed to carry both hot and cold food at the same time.
Tyffyn is especially well suited for moist, dense, and hot food, such as stews, rice, minestrone and other soups, mashed potatoes, lasagna and other baked pasta, ratatouille, dumplings, etc.
Tyffyn is also suitable for cold food, such as salad, cold tofu, yogurt, ice cream, fruit, cheese, cold noodles, gazpacho, potato salad, rice salad, cole slaw, deviled eggs, gelatin, etc.
Yes. Tyffyn is built with state-of-the-art technology, inspected to perform up to the following specifications: Food placed in a Tyffyn at 70 °C will be approximately 45 °C after 6 hours – when the lunchbox is stored at a room temperature of 21 °C.
See our tips below to further improve the performance of your Tyffyn. Tyffyn can also keep food hot for approximately the same amount of time. Tyffyn is an interactive user product – the better you treat it, the better it will perform for you.
Food placed in a Tyffyn at a standard refrigerator’s temperature of 7 °C will be approximately 18 °C after 6 hours, when the lunchbox is stored at a room temperature of 21 °C.
See our tips below to further improve the performance of your Tyffyn. Tyffyn can also keep food hot for approximately the same amount of time. Tyffyn is an interactive user product – the better you treat it, the better it will perform for you.
We recommend hand-cleaning your Tyffyn with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Never soak the base and outer shell, nor place them under running water, these parts are not dishwasher-safe. The inner containers are instead dishwasher safe (up to 60C), or can also be washed by hand. Never scrub your Tyffyn or inner containers. Never use a solvent, or a cleaner containing chlorine, or water with heavy mineral content as this may ruin the finish of your Tyffyn.
You may do so with the inner containers, but not with the outer shell. Cooling down the inner containers before placing food into them (especially ice cream) will help keep your food cold longer.
There is no particular need to cool down your Tyffyn’s outer shell. Placing it in a refrigerator or freezer may actually compromise the vacuum-insulated seal and damage your Tyffyn.
No. Neither Tyffyn’s outer shell nor the inner containers are designed for use in a microwave oven. Placing either one in a microwave oven could seriously damage both, along with the appliance.
No. Your Tyffyn’s inner containers are not designed for food preparation or cooking. Placing them in direct contact with fire or any heating element, such as steamers or cookers or woks, will result in permanent damage.
Condensation may form inside the shell due to the cooling of steam produced by hot food. While removing the shell from the base, be careful that condensation doesn’t accidentally drip on clothes or furniture. While enjoying your meal, place the shell upside down to prevent dripping and provide yourself a safe, clean place to keep the lids of your inner containers.
The BagMat measure about 26 cm x 35 cm when folded and empty.
The BagMat is made of PVC-coated cotton twill.
You can take your Tyffyn on an airplane, but security may ask you to inspect or empty its contents before boarding. Restrictions to the type and volume of the contents may also apply.

Drynk-Cold Retention Performance
Drynk-Heat Retention Performance
Drynk’s heat performance can be optimized by pre-heating it before use:
Always rinse Drynk’s metal body after use and rinse the lids under running water. A mild dishwashing liquid can be used to clean the product.
The inner surface of the metal body can be cleaned with a non-steel scrubber. Do not use steel scrubs as they may leave small steel pieces and contaminate Drynk’s stainless steel surface.
Only use a soft sponge to clean the external surface of the metal body. Using abrasive cleaning pads or steel scrubs will damage the paint finish on the external surface of the metal body.
Make sure Drynk is completely dried after washing.
Since Drynk’s contents may be very hot, it should be always handle with care. Given the proper care, pre-teens and adolescents may handle the product.
Drynk is not intended for use by toddlers and infants. Ensure that the product is kept out of their reach.

Preserve is a vacuum insulated food storage/carrying container that can be used independently or in stackable groups.
Preserve is made of best in class materials for consumer food ware. The plastic components are made with Eco friendly Bio-Polyester, which has high chemical and stain resistance. It is also a BPA free and FDA certified material. The metallic components use food grade Stainless Steel 304 which has high corrosion resistance to standard food product usage conditions.
Preserve comes in two sizes- 500ml and 300ml.
The main parts that you will handle in Preserve are the insulated lid and insulated metal body.
Insulated lid:
Insulated metal body:
Preserve metal body is dishwasher safe. The lids are not.
The heat retention performance of Preserve during usage can be optimized by priming the product before use. Priming instructions are as follows:
a. Fill Preserve metal body with hot water.
b. Let it sit for a few minutes
c. Empty the metal body and fill it with the hot food item you wish to store/carry.
For cold food items repeat the above instructions with cold water instead of hot water.
Always rinse the metal body after use and rinse the lid under running water. Any mild dishwashing liquid can be used to clean the product. The external surface of the metal body must be washed only with a soft sponge, since usage of abrasive cleaning pads/scrubbers or steel scrubs can damage the exterior paint finish.
The inner surface on the metal body can be cleaned with a scrubber. Do not use steel scrubs as it can leave small steel pieces and contaminate Preserve’s Stainless Steel surface.
Ensure that Preserve unit is completely dried after washing.
Preserve is designed to withstand bumps and nicks of everyday usage. Any drops from greater heights will impact the structural integrity of the product.
For a leak-proof and safe experience, always fill Preserve only up to the fill line.
Yes. The materials used in Preserve are BPA free and food safe.
No. Storing any vacuum insulated product in the refrigerator might damage the vacuum seal.
No. Preserve is not microwaveable.
There is a layer of insulating foil in the vacuumed region for enhanced thermal performance. This might give a mild rattling noise in the metal body.
Whenever there is a drop in pressure in the container during usage, the relief valve opens up allowing some air from the environment to enter the container through the top plug. The equalises the pressure and prevents Preserve from locking up.
The entire process is automatic. You can just open Preserve and enjoy your packed meal.
Without the top plug and relief valve, the contents of Preserve will leak. The thermal performance will also be significantly affected. Always use Preserve with all the given gaskets, top plug and relief valve.
The thermal performance of 500ml and 300ml Preserve is given below in the form of graphs.
The graphs show the heat and cold retention performance over a time period of 0-6hrs
